RoboGrid is a thrilling strategy game where you square off against your opponent with your own self built robot - you have to plan your moves 5 moves at a time, so think ahead!

I had the lovely position of creating the props and environmental art, alongside some VFX and UI art. This was also the first project I've worked on where I created stylized, hand-painted textures, which went very well!

All in all, this project was a great success. We even got to present it in front of an audience of around 100 students and some industry professionals after we proved our game was worth pitching! My contributions were the mechanic design, testing and documentation, UI prototyping and implementation, and particle effects.

I used Autodesk Maya to model the environment
seen below, along with Photoshop and
Substance 3D Painter to texture all assets.
